Last year the Workington Reds Supporters Club raised over £35,000. This magnificent effort was achieved by a small working committee of no more than a dozen people. Here are a few of the things that the money raised went to pay for:
New fencing surrounding the pitch
New heating for the Borough Park Social Club
Assistance for the Reserves travelling expenses
New microphone for the Social Club
£1500 donated to the football club every month
We achieved this by the following money raising schemes:

The Supporters Club also organises a number of one-off events throughout the year such as the Sportsmans Supper, golf day, quiz evening and race nights.
To do even better this season we would like to increase the number of members in the Supporters Club in general and the number of active members in particular. Supporters Club membership costs just £5, (£2.50 for senior citizens, children and the unemployed). A family can join for £10. For this you receive the following benefits:

Enamel badge for 1st time members
1st choice for travel to Reds away games
1st choice for tickets to any all-ticket games
The Supporters Club meeting are held monthly after a home game in the Shankley Lounge during the season and on the first Tuesday of the month during the closed season. All newcomers are welcome to attend, please try to help us help the club.
The next meeting is on the 2nd Feb 08 at 5:30pm in the Shankley Lounge after the AFC Telford game.
