Amazing goings on at these 2 clubs this week. Burscough FC has hit a financial crisis brought on by illess for their high profile chairman Chris Lloyd. This led to manager Liam Watson resigning, apparently to assist the club financially.
 
Watson has now returned as manager to his former Club Southport, replacing Gary Brabin, who has gone to Cambridge United after just 8 games in charge at Haig Avenue. In one fell swoop Watson has this week signed no fewer than 11 (eleven!) Burscough players.Shocked
 
There is apparently no truth in the rumour that Southport have changed their colours to Green & White....

See you on Sunday, but it will be more like 11.00 a.m. Not the best at getting up after a few snifters on Saturday. I've got a few spare lagers in the fridge and shall bring 'em down. Should make for a pleasant day.

Annan now a full Scottish League team - congrats to them, and it'll be a useful test for both teams. I assume there'll be buckets of subs allowed with 2 games in 2 days.
